I am very new to writing blogs, with interesting content. I wanted to tell you about my love of the Hope Valley and especially Hathersage. I moved here in 2001 with my little family and soon got involved in village life. Friendly and very welcoming is how I would describe Hathersage. Lots to do if you enjoy the great outdoors, and especially the Peak District. Lots of fantastic walks for all capabilities, outdoor swimming pool, that’s now open all year round. Hathersage with its many cafes, pubs, and restaurants, what’s not to love. Picture below was taken just up the road from Sladen Lodge, as the nights started to become lighter.
