Woop woop! Two months of being open again and how thrilling it feels. Huge thanks to our loyal guests for bearing with us – it is fantastic to welcome you back and a deep pleasure to hear how people have, once again, been able to share special times and precious moments staying together with family and friends.

Happy Christmas everyone! 2020 has been a challenging year and we are raising a glass here at Sladen thinking of everyone and hope this is a relaxing time for you and your loved ones.
Lockdown Bonfire Night
Bonfire night was a little different this year and people all over the country were celebrating in their own ways. Here are Sladen we all wrapped up and huddled round the fire for a family favourite- roasted bananas and chocolate (and a drink or two to keep the cold out!)

Anna has been an integral part of the Sladen team for over 15 years – forever tenacious, with an eye for detail and always “going that extra mile”…

Maintenance May!
Although we are still closed for guest holidays, we have been very busy behind the scenes this month. We’re calling it Maintenance May, making use of the quiet time to paint, fix, replace and prepare the lodge. It’s never looked so good!
